Until he meets Christy. Warm and cheerful, Christy strives to make
her world, and the lives of others, happy and secure. Against all reason, Justin is smitten, though he
knows she would never accept him and his dark world. And he has competition. Mr.
Conrad, the florist, is a kind and upstanding member of the town who has eyes for her as well. To
what lengths will the two men go to win Christy’s heart? And who among the town folk can either of
them rely on? Mrs. O’Leary, the single mother raising two troublesome boys? Or
the Anderson’s, who’s married life is obviously less than perfect? It’s
